     Counselors Associated, Inc. was established in 1976 by Marlene Shiple, Ph.D., as a private psychotherapy practice.  It is located in Phoenix, Arizona at ONE E. Camelback Rd., Suite #550, 85012.  The logo (upper left) is a mandala blending all aspects of the Person -- mind-emotions, body and spirit -- into one, complete, balanced whole being.  It is the vision and the endeavor of Dr. Shiple to assist you, the client, in accomplishing and maintaining just such a state of harmony and balance in your life.

   Dr. Marlene Shiple (photo, upper right) earned a Ph.D. degree in counseling psychology.  Dr. Shiple is a certified Sex Counselor and Sex Therapist, a certified Hypnotherapist, as well as a diplomate of the American College of Forensic Examiners.  She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), the American Counseling Association (ACA), the American Psychotherapy Association (APA), and the American College of Forensic Examiners (ACFE).  She is licensed/certified as a Professional Counselor in the states of Arizona, Texas and Montana.
